Reviews and Ratings
I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The luxury double room was equipped with excellent facilities, but unfortunately, it was located within 20 years of a church bell tower that chimed every hour through the night. On the bright side, the room had secondary glazing and offered a lovely view across the fields.
The hotel is situated in a charming village location, ideal for exploring the North Yorks Moors and coastal areas. The rooms are spacious, clean, and offer a large standalone bath and separate shower, but some noise from the nearby church bells every hour. The service is exceptional, going above and beyond to ensure a memorable stay with thoughtful gestures like decorating our table with confetti. The location is perfect for enjoying walks straight from the doorstep and easy access to nearby attractions. The dining experience was top-notch with delicious local produce, although the breakfast start time was later than expected.
I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The rooms were a little on the small side, but surprisingly comfortable and clean. The location is great for exploring the North Yorks Moors and coast, but it's directly on a busy road. The service was mostly friendly, but there was a rude encounter late at night. The dining experience was self-service, which was unexpected for the price, but the dishes were good and generous.
